2001 -Lee Jouglard

Lee Jouglard was a member of the Stroh ‘s teams in the 1940’s and 50’s. He was always considered one of the best team players of his time.

In 1951, he set an ABC record for the singles which stood for many years . He rolled 775 to win the singles that year and his team also won the team All Events title. He won the ABC Masters Championship in 1951 and was voted the Bowler of the Year for that season. In 1957 he won another ABC title, the coveted All Events Crown. He also was second in the All Events in 1951, 4th in the Classic Singles in 1962 and 7th in All Events in 1947. His 21-year ABC average was 199 and his Masters average for 85 games was 193.

Lee also was a member of teams that won the Detroit Association Team titles in 1949 and 1957. The Michigan State Team titles in 1953 and 1954 and the BPAA Team Championship in 1952, 1953 and 1954.

He was inducted into the ABC Hall of Fame in 1979 and the Detroit Hall of Fame in 1985.
