2025 Scholarship Recipients
Kingston Corpuz – Kingston is a member of Metro Detroit. He has a high average of 206, high game of 280 and high series of 758. Kingston also enjoys playing tennis and pickle-ball. He carries a GPA of 3.51 and will be attending Spring Arbor University where he will be studying graphic design.
Haneef Hampton – Haneef is a member of Greater Kalamazoo. He has a high average of 202, high game of 280 and high series of 750. Through KRESA’s Automotive Technology Programs, he has earned certifications and performed many duties of an automotive techni-cian. Haneef carries a 3.5 GPA and will attend KVCC for engineering and master mechanic.
Devin LaMar – Devin is a member of Metro Detroit. He has a high average of 205, high game of 277, and high series of 762. Not only is Devin a bowler, he also plays football, basketball, and is in track and field. Devin’s real interest is with designing roller coasters. He carries a 3.84 GPA and will attend Kalamazoo College to study engineering.
Morgan McConn – Morgan is a member of Bronson USBC. She carries an average of 173, high game of 269 and high series of 714. She has been a 4-H member for 12 years and enjoys taking care of animals. Morgan carries a 3.714 GPA and plans on attending Trine to major in Biology and will become a bowling team member. She would like to continue her education by applying for a Veterinary Medicine program and become a veterinarian.
Benjamin Slagter – Benjamin is a member of Greater Grand Rapids. He carries an average of 193, has high game of 300, and high series of 750. Benjamin carries a 3.8 GPA and plans on attending Lake Michigan College to study business. When the women’s state tour-nament was held in Grand Rapids, you could find him at the center as a score monitor and helping with anything needed.
Brayden Smoker—Brayden is a member of Bronson and bowls in the Sturgis Youth League. He carries an average of 176, has high game of 278 and high series of 678. Brayden has been a 4-H mem-ber for 6 years, enjoys genealogy, is a self taught guitar player, and is in orchestra. Brayden carries a 4.0 GPA and will be doing his 13th year at Glen Oaks Community College. He would then like to trans-fer to Trine and major in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
