Connie Powers of Highland, will receive her award for the Star of Yesteryear. She started her ten pin career in 1928, and still bowls in two leagues.

Connie teamed with Clara Wilson to win the MWBA doubles title in 1946, while rolling a 689 series to also capture the All Events title. She won the Michigan WBA singles title in 1961.

In the 1946-47 season, Connie supported a 197 average, the highest in the nation at that time.
