2005 - Louis Ivancik
Lou started bowling in leagues in 1956 at the age of twenty. He has been a member of the All Star Classic league since 1961.
He has bowled in 31 ABC Tournaments and has a lifetime average of 193. Lou placed 12th in the Singles in 1985 and in 1990 his “Lou Magic State Farm Agency” team placed first in the Regular Division with a score of 3201. This State Farm Team placed first in the Michigan State Men’s Tournaments three times, in 1989 with 3602, in 1992 with 3230 and in 1996 with 3394.
Lou carried the individual high average of 218.9 in 1968 in the All Star Classic and 237 in 1995-96 in the High Average Cup Roll Offs. To his credit he has 16-300 games, 10-299 games and 5-800 series.
Other accomplishments were: first in the Motor City Tournament in 1959, first in the Fairborn Singles Classic in 1973, first in Moose State All Events in 1976, first in 1993 and 1997 in Detroit Senior Masters.
Lou is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Detroit Bowling Association, Michigan Majors Bowling Association , Michigan Junior Masters Bowling Association and the Greater Detroit Old-Timers Bowling Association.
Lou lvancik was inducted into the Greater Detroit Bowling Hall of Fame in 1997.
