2016 - Angela Wilt

Angela went into a bowling center when she was 13 years old to watch a family member bowl (in 1986) and having never bowled before, she liked what she saw and decided to try it that day. She bowled for the first time and shot a 213 game and was hooked from that moment on. She joined a youth league that fall and it’s been a great journey since that day.

Angela has had a 300 game – 12 times, a high series of 837 and 5 other 800 series.

Angela loves bowling and coaching, commenting on how this sport is so special, especially due to the friendships you make along the way.

Angela shared with us the following: “A sad note about being inducted in the Michigan WBA Hall of Fame,  my Dad won’t be there. God had called him home 02/06/2016. But, before he passed he knew about the letter I received from MWBA and was very happy and proud. This journey would not have been possible without the love and dedication he has instilled in me.”

The MWBA is proud to welcome you Angela into the Michigan State Hall of Fame for Superior Performance for 2016.
