David Albrecht is being inducted into the Michigan State USBC BA Hall of Fame for his dedication to the sport of bowling and the Michigan State association in the Meritorious Service category.

He was elected as a Michigan State BA Zone Director in 1983, honored as Director of the Year in 1991 and served as MSBA President in the 1998-99 season.

Locally he was the Mid-Thumb BA Assistant Secretary-Treasurer from 1979 to 1990; Secretary-Treasurer from 1990 to 1992; and Tournament Committee chairman from 1993 to 1999.

He was a league secretary-treasurer for over 30 years.

His bowling accomplishments include two 300 games, three 800 series with a high of 828 and a high lifetime average of 218. He won several local association titles in team, doubles and singles events.
