Curtailed by an illness, Elaine had to give up bowling but she comes well qualified as the Star of Yesteryear. 

She maintained a 200 average in 1992, had a 755 series in 1988, 754 in 1987 and 720 in 1992. Her highest game was a 290. 

A member of the Pro Bowl Team, they won the MWBA Actual Championship in 1988 with a high score of 3025. 

Locally, she won many titles. Won Actual Doubles in 1994 with a score of 1308, was a member of the Actual Team Champions in 1990, won the Actual and Handicap Doubles in 1987 as well as the Actual All Events with a total of 1804. Was on the winning team a total of seven times. Elaine made the All City Team thirteen times and was Captain four times. 

She is a member of the Lansing Board of Directors and the Lansing YABA Board and one of her main priorities is coaching the children.
